Who We Are

Happy Kidney Avenue is a non-profit advocacy platform dedicated to promoting kidney health awareness across Uganda.

Founded by Ugandan nephrologist Dr. David Atuhe, the initiative seeks to bridge the information gap surrounding kidney disease by providing accurate, accessible, and evidence-based health education.

Our work is driven by a simple conviction: prevention is better than treatment. Through sustained awareness campaigns and public engagement, we seek to reduce the burden of kidney disease by encouraging early screening, healthy lifestyles, and informed health decisions.
